Qualifications

• High-volume, accurate data entry with 10-key and high typing speed.
• Comfortable handling biological samples and fluids.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook and Windows OS.
• Lab experience preferred but not required.
• Associates or Bachelors in a lab science or current student pursuing one.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient demographics, insurance, and test requests into the LIS.
• Receive, sort, and route specimens for testing.
• Review specimens to determine processing or disposal.
• Scan requisitions and transport specimens to departments.
