Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking an Entry-Level Lab Assistant - Temporary - Part-Time to support lab operations. The role involves handling samples, maintaining supplies, and assisting with documentation to ensure GLP-compliant processes.

The position pays $15.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–4:00 PM shift, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a great entry point for hands-on lab exposure and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related work experience preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to learn organizational policies and procedures; able to operate computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and stocks supplies, tools, and related items.
• Cleans laboratory glassware according to GLP methods; transports and delivers glassware.
• Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations; escalates when required.
• May pick up, transports and delivers samples, documents, materials and other items.
• Assists with reviewing and processing documents and databases for sample pickup, transport and delivery.
• Contributes to team efficiency and supports the department's service to customers.
