Job summary

Florida International University’s BottenLab, within the Center for Children and Families, is seeking a part-time lab manager to support grant-funded studies. The role includes coordinating participant recruitment, scheduling, and IRB amendments, along with data management and protocol drafting.

The position also covers administrative tasks, onboarding new lab members, and liaising with university centers for scheduling and resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with three (3) years of experience or two (2) years of post-secondary education with one (1) year of experience.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the lab's grant-funded studies, including participant recruitment and scheduling.
• Manage IRB amendments and support data management efforts.
• Draft and revise study protocols and prepare agreement requests, forms, and reports.
• Handle lab administrative tasks such as onboarding new lab members and coordinating with university centres/departments for schedule/resource management.
• Assist with travel requests and expense reports; manage lab social media presence where applicable.
