Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada, Henderson campus, is seeking dependable, customer-focused part-time Lab and Back Office Tech to support the Technology Services team. Training will be provided; no prior IT experience required, but an interest in technology is helpful.

Role involves front-line lab support, assisting with basic computer questions, imaging and deploying equipment, and inventory management. Potentially split between lab and tech office as needed.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, able to work independently
• Willingness and ability to learn new technology, tools, and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide courteous, professional customer service
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to perform basic Internet research and document editing

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support for the computer lab during operating hours
• Assist students, faculty, and staff with basic computer, printer, account, and tech questions
• Monitor lab equipment and ensure resources are available and functioning
• Assist with imaging, configuring, and deploying computers and other tech equipment
• Assist with inventory labeling, tracking and organization of equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
