Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect and process laboratory specimens, and perform waived point-of-care testing.
• Explain and instruct patients on specimen collection and confirm patient identity.
• Perform and report waived POC testing within SOPs and turnaround times.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, quality control, and calibration records.
• Communicate critical values to the provider and document actions.
• Ensure compliance with COLA, CLIA, and AAAHC standards.
