Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a part-time phlebotomy technician to procure and process specimens for diagnostic testing, and perform courier and clerical duties. This role supports the hospital’s mission and patient care objectives.

The position requires an HS diploma, BLS within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license; 21+ with a clean driving record is preferred. Evening shifts and some weekend coverage are scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire is required.
• Previous phlebotomy, clerical and/or computer experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and processing of specimens submitted for diagnostic testing.
• Performs courier duties as part of specimen transport.
• Performs a variety of general clerical functions.
