Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System in Missouri is seeking a full-time specimen procurement and processing technician responsible for handling diagnostic specimens, performing courier duties, and completing general clerical tasks.

The role supports the laboratory workflow, requires a high school diploma and BLS within 90 days, 21+ with valid driver's license; prior phlebotomy/clerical experience preferred; typical schedule Monday-Friday with morning start times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma - required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire - required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Previous phlebotomy, clerical and/or computer experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and processing of specimens submitted for diagnostic testing.
• Courier duties within the workflow.
