Alvin College seeks a Part-Time Drafting and Design Engineering Technology Assistant to support the instructional labs and machining spaces. You will assist students and faculty, monitor and organize equipment, software, tooling and supplies, and help ensure safe operation of drafting/design and machining areas.

This part-time position is limited to 19 hours per week, with duties spanning general office tasks and lab support.

Formación

• Degree or certificate in Drafting and Design, Machining/CNC, Industrial Technology.
• Equivalent combinations of relevant education, technical training, certifications, and hands-on experience may be considered.

The Part-Time Drafting and Design Engineering Technology Assistant supports the instructional computer labs, machining shop, and machining lab. Responsibilities include general office duties; assisting students and faculty; monitoring, maintaining, and organizing instructional equipment, software, tooling, and supplies; and supporting the safe and effective operation of drafting/design and machining instructional spaces.

This position is limited to no more than 19 hours per week.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or certificate in Drafting and Design, Machining/CNC, Industrial Technology
• Equivalent combinations of relevant education, technical training, certifications, and hands-on experience may be considered.
