Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen or food service is preferred.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability for strenuous cleaning and lifting.
• Ability to understand English and follow instructions.
• Ability to follow sanitation standards and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prep and wash dishware, silverware, glassware, pots and pans.
• Ensure all chemical dispensers and cleaning supplies are adequate and safe.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed.
• Empty and clean garbage from kitchen to dumpster.
• Assist with heavy lifting.
• Daily cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment, including stainless steel areas.
• Monthly cleaning of all kitchen surfaces and appliances.
• Assist in the dining room, removing soiled dishes during service.
