Job summary

Temple Square Hospitality Corporation in Salt Lake City, inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, seeks a Part-Time Steward to maintain dishwashing and kitchen support. The role offers 15–25 hours per week across 2–3 shifts with Sundays off and room for growth.

Previous stewarding or kitchen support is preferred but not required; a reliable, team-oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen support experience, preferred but not required.
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machine and manually wash pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment as needed.
• Assist in organizing and storing kitchen equipment, disposing of trash and recycling, and following all food and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning products.
• Support culinary staff by restocking wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks and other kitchen maintenance as required.
