Job summary

Franciscan Ministries is seeking a part-time Dishwasher-Utility in Illinois to support dietary operations with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation. The role runs 4 PM–8 PM and involves dishwashing, kitchen maintenance, and general duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma/GED and may hold a ServSafe certification. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required, and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification if required.
• None or minimal experience; 1+ years in a kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of production areas including vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
• Bus dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots and pans as needed.
• Put clean dishes away in appropriate places.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.
