Job summary

Tupelo Children's Mansion, Inc. is seeking a dependable dishwasher to keep our kitchen clean, organized, and ready for meal service. This part-time role supports our residential campus and culinary team.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 2:00–6:00 p.m. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain a sanitary workspace, and assist with meal setup and cleanup. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with attention to safety.
• Prior kitchen or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, dry, and put away dishes, utensils, cookware, and serving items.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Clean sinks, counters, equipment, and other assigned kitchen areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors as assigned.
• Help set up for and clean up after meals.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Report broken equipment, supply needs, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with other Food Services duties as assigned.
• Dependable and able to work the scheduled hours.
• Able to stand for most of the shift and regularly bend, reach, move, and lift kitchen items.
