Job summary

Heinen’s is seeking a Retail Professional to uphold the Diamond Difference standards in our Ohio stores. You will prioritize daily tasks, prepare food items per orders, and maintain safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Must be production driven with the ability to work on repetitive tasks, while standing.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings.
• Ability to frequent lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 degrees.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Prepare a variety of foods, such as sandwiches, wraps, trays, according to customers’ orders following approved procedures.
• Wash, peel, and cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
• Follow Heinen’s paning, packaging, and merchandising standards.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Kitchen Department.
• Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
• Write orders using effective pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including stocking, rotating and merchandising.
• Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
