Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Production-driven with the ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing.
• Willingness to work non-traditional five-day schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Prepare a variety of foods (sandwiches, wraps, trays) according to customer orders.
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables and meats for cooking or serving.
• Follow Heinen’s packaging and merchandising standards.
• Learn and share knowledge of Kitchen Department.
• Monitor and maintain food handling and temperature standards.
• Write orders using pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks; assist with stock, shrink, and merchandising.
• Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
• Comply with personal and food safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
