Job summary

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work a non-traditional five-day schedule including weekends and evenings. Training and a supportive team culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Prepare a variety of foods according to customers’ orders following approved procedures.
• Wash, peel, and cut foods for cooking or serving.
• Follow Heinen’s panning, packaging, and merchandising standards.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Kitchen Department.
• Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
• Write orders using effective pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including scanning and recording shrink, orders, stocking, rotating and merchandising.
• Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
