Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Part Time Field Service Technician to support the Fort Smith, AR area. You will service and restock kiosks, install new units, and troubleshoot connectivity or power issues while traveling daily across the territory.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and some electromechanical repair experience; 1-3 years in a similar role and fluency in English are preferred for technical communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical “jargon”.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
• New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.
• Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.
