Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Part Time Field Service Technician in New Albany, IN to service kiosks and support 3rd party systems. You will perform routine maintenance, on-call repairs, and install/replacement of kiosks across the local territory.

The role emphasizes territory growth, inventory control, and ensuring connectivity and uptime across multiple stores. 20 hours/week, with pay of $22–$24 per hour plus car allowance and reimbursements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred)
Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred)
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred)
Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical jargon

Responsibilities

Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).
Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.
Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.
