Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Part Time Field Service Technician to support our Robotics and Digital Solutions division in the Columbus, OH area. You will service and install kiosks (Minute Key, Quick Tag) and handle third-party service tasks, with a focus on uptime and reliability.

Paid hourly at $22-$24, the role includes a car allowance, cell-phone reimbursement, and a corporate gas card for business miles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance preferred.
• Experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English, including technical jargon.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (based on demand or schedule).
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to kiosks when they malfunction.
• Install new kiosks or swap older kiosks in the local area.
• Monitor machines daily for issues and coordinate with stores to resolve connectivity or power problems.
• Keep inventory for re-stocking machines in proximity of Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Grow revenue by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, and store relationships.
