Job summary

The Hillman Group’s Robotics and Digital Solutions division in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Part Time Field Service Technician. You will service and install kiosks, perform routine maintenance, and monitor machine health while traveling within the local area.

The role offers hourly pay of $22–$24, with car allowance, cell-phone reimbursement, and a corporate gas card for business miles. Flexibility and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance preferred.
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service preferred.
• A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a similar profile preferred.
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English, including technical jargon.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed.
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to kiosks when machines malfunction.
• Install new kiosks or upgrade existing ones in the local area.
• Monitor machines daily for issues and coordinate with stores to resolve connectivity or power problems.
• Keep track of inventory for restocking kiosks.
• Grow revenue by optimizing machine locations, uptime, and product mix.

Job Summary - Part Time Field Service Technician – Cleveland, OH

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Part Time Field Service Technician in the Cleveland, OH area. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).

This role is based on experience, usually paying $22 - $24 an hour. Car allowance will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.

Essential Job Functions*

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
• New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.
• Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

Education & Experience

Operational Equipment

• Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.
• Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement)
• Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment

Sales/Service: Environment varies due to location/store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required. Function vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Sales/Service: Medium, lifting up to 30 lbs., occassionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
