Job summary

The Petersburg Family YMCA in Petersburg, VA is seeking part-time gymnastics instructors to lead fun, safe classes for children. In this role you will develop and implement engaging activities, monitor safety, and encourage participation during weekday and weekend sessions.

The ideal candidate has experience with basic gymnastics knowledge and can demonstrate spotting techniques. CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a gym setting.
• Familiarity with basic gymnastics knowledge.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging gymnastics activities for children.
• Ensure safety and supervision during weekday and weekend sessions.
• Assist with moving equipment up to 100 pounds and spotting children as needed.
