The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time Gymnastics Instructors to lead engaging classes for children at the Petersburg Family YMCA. You will design fun, safe activities and foster a positive, inclusive class atmosphere.
Applicants should enjoy working with kids, have basic gymnastics knowledge, be available weekdays and weekends, and be prepared to assist with equipment and spotting. CPR/First Aid are desired.
The Petersburg Family YMCA is seeking part time energetic and experienced individuals to facilitate our gymnastics classes with the children in our gymnastics program! The pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour.
Gymnastics instructors will develop and implement a successful, engaging and fun program for gymnastics participants. Instructors must be available during the week and weekends.
We are looking for gymnastics instructors who enjoy working with children and have experience with basic gymnastics knowledge. Experience demonstrating appropriate spotting techniques and other skills are also required.
Instructors may be required to move equipment with assistance, up to approximately 100 pounds and spot (catch or lift) children of approximately 100 pounds.
Must have the visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation. CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are desired.
