Job summary

The Beaufort Bonnet Company is seeking a part-time Keyholder to support daily store operations, assist customers, and safeguard assets while upholding brand standards and a high level of service. You will present and sell merchandise, learn the POS system, build a client book, participate in store meetings, and contribute ideas to merchandising and displays to grow the business.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Advanced computer skills, Excel and Word.
• Physical requirement: bending/stooping/kneeling; lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell merchandise consistent with the brand by interacting with customers.
• Provide suggestions to management for merchandising to improve sales.
• Build a personal client book.
• Learn POS software system and perform routine transactions, inventory receiving/transfers, opening/closing registers.
• Share current product knowledge with customers to enhance shopping experience with recommendations.
• Participate in all store-related meetings and strive to exceed sales/service goals.
• Operate the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide ideas to grow and improve the business (merchandising, staffing, floor displays, ads, hours).
• Safeguard store assets and assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and year-end inventory.
