Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey seeks an experienced K-12 education professional to build sustained partnerships with public schools and school districts, strengthening their ability to recognize, prevent and respond to antisemitism. The Manager will engage schools proactively, support Jewish students and families when concerns arise, and bring K-12 education expertise to the JCRC team.

The Manager will also establish a frontline volunteer committee to help guide this work and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant K-12 education experience.
Knowledge of public school and district operations and contemporary antisemitism in K-12 educational settings.
Knowledge of Jewish life, values, identity, religious and cultural practices, Israel, and issues affecting Jewish students and families.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with educators, administrators, families and community leaders.
Strong communication, organization, judgment and discretion.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Travel locally.
Occasional evening meetings or programs.
