Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey seeks an experienced, relationship-driven K-12 education professional to build sustained partnerships with public schools and districts, strengthening their ability to recognize, prevent and respond to antisemitism.

The Manager will engage schools proactively, support Jewish students and families when concerns arise, and bring K-12 education expertise to the JCRC team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant K-12 education experience.
• Knowledge of public school operations and antisemitism issues in K-12 settings.
• Knowledge of Jewish life, values, identity, religious and cultural practices, Israel, and issues affecting Jewish students and families.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with educators, administrators, families and community leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build sustained partnerships with public schools and districts.
• Support Jewish students and families when concerns arise.
• Bring K-12 education expertise to the JCRC team.
• Establish a frontline volunteer committee and engage lay leadership.
• Travel locally as needed.
• Work on a 21-hour-per-week schedule and engage schools proactively to recognize, prevent and respond to antisemitism.
