Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking qualified instructors to deliver engaging enrichment sessions at partner schools and community sites in Oregon. Many assignments are part-time, typically 1–4 instructional hours per week, with rolling start dates throughout the school year.

Instructors may come from teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or other relevant settings. Most opportunities compensate $50–$65 per instructional hour, with rates varying by assignment and location, and all postings provide

Qualifications

• At least 60 completed college credits, or equivalent relevant professional experience when appropriate for the assignment.
• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, athletic programs, private instruction, or similar environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and group-management skills.
• Dependable, organized, and professional work habits.
• Knowledge, training, education, or professional experience relevant to one or more enrichment subjects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction.
• Prepare for instructional sessions using provided curriculum, approved lesson plans, or appropriate instructor-developed activities.
• Create a positive, respectful, inclusive, and appropriately supervised learning environment.
• Encourage participation and adapt instruction to students with different ages, abilities, and experience levels.
• Maintain appropriate classroom management and student supervision.
• Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs.
• Follow applicable school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols.
• Arrive prepared and on time for all accepted instructional sessions.
