Job summary

Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide engaging enrichment experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students. Instructors deliver age-appropriate enrichment sessions at partner sites on a part-time basis.

Most assignments pay between $50 and $65 per instructional hour, with rates varying by assignment, location, and subject area. Rolling start dates based on partner schedules and program lengths of 8–10 weeks.

Qualifications

• At least 60 completed college credits, or equivalent relevant professional experience when appropriate for the assignment.
• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, athletic programs, private instruction, or similar environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and group-management skills.
• Dependable, organized, and professional work habits.
• Knowledge, training, education, or professional experience relevant to one or more enrichment subjects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction.
• Prepare for instructional sessions using provided curriculum, approved lesson plans, or instructor-developed activities.
• Create a positive, respectful, inclusive, and supervised learning environment.
• Encourage participation and adapt instruction to students with different ages, abilities, and experience levels.
• Maintain appropriate classroom management and student supervision.
• Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs.
• Follow school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols.
• Arrive prepared and on time for all accepted instructional sessions.
