Allied Universal in Columbia, SC is seeking a Juvenile Corrections Security Officer - Part Time Access to safeguard youth residents and staff. Responsibilities include controlling entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment within a government juvenile justice facility.

Qualifications

• Six months security-related experience is required.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer or tablet experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, youth residents, and contractors per access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs, manage visitor entry and maintain records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and security concerns with proper reporting.
• Conduct patrols of assigned areas to identify unauthorized access or activity.
• Assist in maintaining a secure government juvenile facility by following post orders.
