Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for part-time instructors in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication to teach mass media courses in radio and television broadcasting, production, writing, producing and reporting for Fall 2026. Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis with a maximum load of three courses per semester.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Communication or related field and relevant teaching/industry experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication or closely related discipline at time of application.
• 1–3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in broadcasting.

Responsibilities

• Teach mass media courses in radio and television broadcasting, production, writing, producing and reporting.
• Teach face-to-face and/or online courses.
• Work closely with TV Studio Director and General Manager of WNAA 90.1 FM.
