Job summary

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is accepting applications for a Part-Time Instructor in Journalism and Mass Communication for Fall 2026. The position involves teaching mass media courses including radio and television production, with a maximum load of three courses per semester.

Applicants are required to have a Master’s degree in Communication and teaching experience is preferred. The position may allow for remote work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication or closely related discipline.
• 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level preferred.
• 3-5 years of industry experience in broadcasting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face and/or online courses in broadcasting.
• Work closely with the TV Studio Director and General Manager.
• Maintain professional standards and contribute to the department’s teaching mission.
