Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland is seeking a Job Coach to provide direct support to clients, train, supervise, and model work procedures, and help participants develop goals while placing them in community jobs. The role emphasizes teaching basic work habits and attitudes and adapting training strategies to each participant's needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AA degree can substitute for required experience.
• Six months in related field required; supervisory/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct support for clients; train, supervise, and model work procedures.
• Assist participants in developing goals and implementing tasks.
• Adapt training strategies to participant needs and changing environments.
• Provide transportation to program participants between job sites as needed.
