Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Part-Time Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and maintenance at client sites. The role covers morning, afternoon, and evening shifts across seven days with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions with attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per client needs.
