Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and maintenance inside client sites. The position is part-time with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, offering weekly pay and a $13.00 per hour wage.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, restroom upkeep, trash removal, window cleaning, carpet care, and replenishing supplies. Candidate should have a HS diploma or equivalent or at least six months in janitorial work, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow chemical cleaners and power equipment procedures to protect floors and other objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and use of a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as required by scope of work or customer needs.
