Job summary

The GIANT Company in Carlisle, PA is seeking a dedicated store cleaning associate to maintain office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. You will operate floor cleaners and power washers, remove trash, and respond quickly to spills to keep our stores safe and welcoming for customers and teammates.

This role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to read and follow posted instructions.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to understand company policies and safety regulations
• Meets ergonomic and physical requirements
• Able to use or learn to use equipment and tools
• Completes 30 or 60 day probation
• Reads, writes and communicates in English
• Adheres to performance standards and attendance
• Follows proper dress code

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare equipment and supplies at shift start
• Clean and vacuum office and conference area floors
• Clean and mop restroom and break area floors
• Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, power wash sidewalks
• Dust and wash surfaces, mirrors, glass and equipment
• Resupply items as needed and observe hazardous floor conditions
