Job summary

The GIANT Company in Perkasie, PA is seeking a part-time cleaning associate to maintain offices, restrooms, break areas, and store spaces. You will review the schedule, prepare supplies, and perform floor care with cleaners and power washers.

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and adherence to safety policies. You will operate cleaning equipment, dust surfaces, and ensure spills are promptly addressed to keep facilities safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of shift and prepare equipment and supplies.
• Clean and vacuum floors in the office and conference spaces.
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
• Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, and clean up spills.
• Dust and wash surfaces; clean mirrors, glass, floors, and equipment in break rooms and restrooms.
• Resupply items as needed.
• Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions.
