Job summary

The GIANT Company in Lititz, PA is seeking a dedicated team member to perform janitorial duties across offices, restrooms, break areas, and common spaces. You will clean floors, vacuum, remove trash, and operate cleaning equipment in a fast-paced retail environment.

Strong safety awareness and the ability to work 4-hour shifts or longer as needed are required. This role supports store operations across our Pennsylvania region, with a focus on cleanliness and customer-ready spaces.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Promptly, at the start of the shift, the team member will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
• Clean and vacuum floors in the office and conference spaces.
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
• Remove all trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean up all spills in the store, and use power washer to clean sidewalks.
• Dust and wash surfaces.
• Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in all break rooms, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
• Resupply items as needed.
• Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions.
