Diversified Maintenance is seeking a motivated Part-time Janitor in Youngstown, Ohio, to perform general cleaning and upkeep for client sites. The role emphasizes reliability, flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistent, quality work daily.

Responsibilities include floor care (sweeping, mopping, buffing), restroom maintenance, trash disposal, window cleaning, and occasional use of heavy cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, buffers).
• Other duties as assigned per client needs.
