Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time janitor in Mississippi for a morning shift (5:00 AM–10:00 AM), Monday through Sunday, with weekly pay. The role focuses on general cleaning and upkeep of client sites according to established procedures.

The position may require flexibility in duties per client needs. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of janitorial experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly; use of compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client scope.
