Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time janitor in Michigan. The role focuses on general cleaning and upkeep of assigned facilities, with a morning shift and weekend availability. Weekly pay is provided, and training is offered to new hires.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom cleaning, trash disposal, window cleaning, and following client-specific cleaning standards. Flexible duties as required help maintain safe, clean environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
