Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial assignments at Gateway Hudson Valley and off-site locations.
• Complete assigned janitorial work within specified time frames and to contract quality levels.
• Inform Supervisor of cleaning and personnel issues or needs.
• Represent Gateway Hudson Valley professionally with customers.
• Manage equipment and supplies assigned.
• Participate in training for professional growth as scheduled.
• Demonstrate positive work attitudes as a role model.
• May work alternate shifts with notice.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Use safety devices and PPE as required.
• Adhere to Safety and Health Accident Prevention Program and all safety rules.
• Comply with Corporate Compliance Policy and Standards of Conduct.

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform janitorial assignments at Gateway Hudson Valley and off-site commercial and private locations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the completion of assigned janitorial work within specified time frames and to specified quality levels of each contract.
• Inform the Supervisor Janitorial Services of all cleaning and personnel issues or needs.
• Act as a representative of Gateway and deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Responsible for all equipment and supplies assigned.
• Participate in training programs for professional growth as scheduled and approved.
• Demonstrate positive work attitudes and habits as a role model.
• May be required to work alternate shifts with notice, which may or may not be permanent.
• Maintain a work environment in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Use all required safety devices and personal protective equipment.
• Perform work tasks in a safe manner, and do not take unsafe "short cuts".
• Conduct daily inspections of immediate work area(s) to look for unsafe conditions.
• Ensure all accidents are promptly reported to immediate supervisor and Human Resources.
• Be familiar with the Safety and Health Accident Prevention Program and abide by all safety and health rules, work practices, and regulations.
• Responsible for understanding and adhering to Gateway Hudson Valley's Corporate Compliance Policy and Standards of Conduct as well as all applicable program rules, regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
