Job summary

Planned Companies in Livermore, CA is seeking a reliable Janitor/Custodian to maintain clean common areas and restrooms for our facilities. Work hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00am–12:30pm, totaling 9 hours per week, at $21 per hour.

You will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, emptying trash, and assisting with supplies and light repairs as needed. Qualified candidates are able to stand for long periods, lift 50 pounds, and work well in a team or

Qualifications

• Stand for extended periods and be on your feet for long durations.
• Lift 50 pounds or more as required.
• Experience using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors as needed.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Sanitizing bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and cleaning windows.
• Assisting with cleaning supply orders and reporting repairs.
