Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Livermore, CA is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas in accordance with safety policies. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and manage hazardous waste tasks while upholding a professional appearance and customer service standards.

Experience of 3–6 months is preferred, no specific education is required; a valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months training or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Handle hazardous waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain professional conduct with lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers.
