Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time Janitor in Orlando, FL to perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks for client sites. The role offers afternoon shifts, with a typical schedule from Wednesday to Friday and weekly pay.

The position pays $14.00 per hour and requires flexibility and attention to detail to meet client specifications. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom and common area cleaning, waste disposal, window and carpet upkeep, and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 6+ months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs.
