Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time Janitor in Florida. The role involves performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas in one or multiple client sites, with responsibilities spread across floors, restrooms, windows, and general cleaning tasks.

Flexibility is required to meet client specifications. The position offers morning shifts from Monday through Friday, $15.00 per hour, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must-have: High school diploma or equivalent; six months janitorial experience preferred.
• Must-have: Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Preferred: Prior cleaning or janitorial experience and familiarity with custodial practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage disposal; use of compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per scope of work or client needs.
