Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Part-Time IV&V Software Engineer to support advanced defense and engineering programs. You will review FQT results, perform static and dynamic code analysis, and help automate verification within government test environments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 5 years of software design engineering experience, and an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5 years of software design/IV&V experience in DoD context is expected.
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools and memory debugging.

Responsibilities

• System Testing & Validation: Review FQT results and track defects.
• Code & Architecture Analysis: Perform deep-dive static/dynamic analysis on software.
• Automation & Integration: Build automated verification and integrate IVPC/EMUL environments.
• DevSecOps & CI/CD: Maintain/optimize pipelines using GitLab and Agile lifecycles.
