Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated IV&V Software Engineer to support advanced defense programs. You will develop analytical tools, evaluate systems, and contribute to mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced, technical environment. Strong GitLab, DevSecOps, and memory debugging tool experience is expected, with an active secret clearance.

The role involves testing, code analysis, automation, and CI/CD pipeline optimization, with travel and customer-site work as described.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
5 years of software design engineering experience.
Experience with IV&V in DoD/Army environments is preferred.
Proficiency with static and dynamic code analysis tools and memory debugging tools.
Strong GitLab, DevSecOps, and Agile software development lifecycle experience.
Active secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze Formal Qualification Tests (FQT) for the IFPC weapon system and track defects.
Perform deep-dive static and dynamic code analysis on software executables.
Architect and implement automated verification solutions; integrate IVPC/IVP and emulation/test environments.
Maintain and optimize software verification pipelines with CI/CD tools.
