Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an adjunct IT instructor to deliver ITSP courses, develop syllabi, and manage student records. The role emphasizes effective use of technology to enhance learning and adherence to college policies.

The position requires a master’s degree or two additional credentials in information technology, with relevant industry certifications preferred. It is a part-time, on-site role, with schedule based on class enrollment and campus needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree or higher in information technology or a related field from a regionally accredited institution, or a bachelor’s with documented qualifying credentials.
• Possesses documentation of two or more related qualifications or certifications as appropriate.
• Experience or evidence of teaching excellence is preferred.
• Ability to use and integrate instructional technology to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned ITSP courses in line with college policies and course objectives.
• Develop, update, and manage syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and grades in compliance with FERPA and college policy.
• Engage students with active teaching strategies and diverse learning environments.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in classrooms and labs.
