Job summary

Ivy Tech Marion (Grant County) campus is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach for the School of IT. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis to create environments that help students reach their goals and provide effective instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities include delivering classes, using technology, developing syllabi and assessments, maintaining records, and upholding FERPA and campus policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in IT, information systems, software development, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned classes in line with college policy and course objectives.
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students to promote a positive learning experience and active teaching strategies.
• Adheres to FERPA, campus guidelines, and professional standards.
