Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in South Bend, IN, seeks a Part-Time IT Support staffer to assist staff, faculty and students with classroom IT and equipment. You will handle helpdesk tickets, provide end-user support for desktops, printers, projectors, scanners, and network issues, and help with equipment maintenance.

Required high school diploma; associate degree preferred. Up to 28 hours per week; expected to travel as needed and work nights/weekends as required. $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for phone, email, and in-person support.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks calmly and confidentially in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and user support for classroom IT and equipment.
• Process IT Helpdesk tickets to ensure timely resolution within SLA.
• Assist staff, faculty, and students with hardware, printers, projectors, and network issues.
• Maintain equipment and support end-users in person, over the phone or via email.
