Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking a part-time IT Development SME to provide expert advice, analysis, and assistance in defining, designing, and improving the project management system using IT development, API, and no-code/low-code approaches.

This role supports JSE and squadron IT, collaborates with stakeholders to safeguard information systems, and helps oversee IT resources in line with DoD and AF guidance. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) and minimum of 10 years’ experience in MIS/IT/CS/related field.
• At least four years of hands-on technical experience with at least 2 years in Information Assurance or a Master’s degree in this area.
• Ability to work independently with timely status updates while managing multiple tasks.
• Strong customer service mindset and knowledge of DoD/government policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of information security concepts and risk communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for the Joint Simulation Environment and other squadron IT systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems.
• Support meetings, reviews, and design activities; participate in analyses of alternatives.
• Ensure IT equipment is operated, maintained and disposed of per DoD guidance.
• Identify IT investments and efforts to enhance squadron capability; advise leadership.
• Assist with secure/non-secure video teleconferencing operations and related records.
