Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to maintain store inventory integrity and accuracy. The role focuses on receiving, counting, and placing the right products in the right place while delivering strong customer service. The position averages 20-30 hours per week and may vary by store location.

You will resolve discrepancies, participate in cycle counts, and ensure proper replenishment, working closely with store teams to support overall store operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and find root cause of inventory discrepancies.
• Retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure POs are properly received from Ace and non-Ace vendors.
• Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages from orders received.
• Work with the freight captain to ensure proper receiving and replenishment upon arrival at the store.
• Ensure all outs are researched by scanning the location using a mobile device, determining cause, and following all processes to correct the errors.
• Utilize Mango reports and daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain on hand integrity by reviewing discrepancies and adjusting counts as needed.
• Oversee price changes, location codes, inventory levels, and adjustments.
• Coordinate store preparation for periodic full store inventories.
• Participate in Inventory Coordinator training and share knowledge with staff.
• Collaborate with Store Support Center to ensure proper inventory controls.
• Report and find solutions for inventory concerns with management.
